The Silent Killer
This book was written following my counseling efforts with the parents of eight kids who committed suicide at the same time in different places in Plano, Texas. This happened in 1984 and was the first reported cluster suicide in the United States. It caused incredible alarm.Because of this nationwide scare and the fact that the Former Arkansas Governor, Mike Huckabee, who was a longtime friend mine and knew about the book I had written on Suicide, invited me to come to the Arkansas capital and Train the Counselors and Chaplains that served in the Arkansas Prison System on how to recognize the signs, symptoms, and causes for Suicide.
