Join Dr. Michael K. Haynes, the heart and soul behind the Faith Based Counselor Training Institute (FBCTI), for a life-changing two-day event that promises not just to educate but to transform. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Theology and Counseling. From Rock Band to Rock Solid Faith Before embracing his calling, Dr. Haynes's journey took him from the stages with ZZ Top to the front lines as a first responder fireman, and ultimately, to finding salvation and purpose through Jesus. His transformation led him to Seminary in the '70s, setting the stage for a life devoted to healing and guiding others.
A Legacy of Leadership and Compassion Dr. Haynes has pastored numerous churches, authored over 60 books, and served alongside Mayor Giuliani as Head Chaplain in the aftermath of 9/11. His legislative efforts with House Bill 2481, in collaboration with Gov. George Bush, have paved the way for faith-based counselors to thrive, integrating the crucial spiritual dimension into comprehensive healing.
